Dr. Cliff Maurer
Physical Medicine, Consulting Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Maurer is a board certified in chiropractic and has specialized in physical medicine and
muskuloskeletal consultation for over 10 years. Dr. Maurer has spent his career in an integrative
medicine setting, creating individualized and patient-centered care plans with a wide variety
of patients and teams of talented healthcare professionals.

Dr. Maurer graduated from National University of Health Sciences in 2009. In clinical training, his rotations consisted of university clinics, private practice, and community health centers. In Illinois, he is licensed as a primary care chiropractic physician; he is board certified to practice chiropractic in Texas as well.
​
In his group practice, Dr. Maurer specializes in diagnosing and treating sports injuries and other acute physical problems, persistent pain and dysfunction, and other conditions of the musculoskeletal system. His main areas of interest are athletic injuries, spinal pain, shoulder problems, and other acute and chronic conditions of the musculoskeletal system. To many of his patients, he is a primary care contact who helps diagnose other conditions and create partnerships between patients and specialists when the need arises.

As part of his postgraduate training, Dr. Maurer has trained in various methods of evaluation and treatment across the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom. He has assisted in teaching shoulder assessment and therapy methods to physical therapists, chiropractors, physiatrists and orthopedists in the US and UK as well, and coordinates quality continuing professional education courses as well.

In his free time, Dr. Maurer enjoys spending time with friends and his dog, traveling, hiking, scuba diving, cooking, swimming, weight lifting, cycling, and practicing yoga.
